Hopper was a plain old pet shop mouse, until he sets on an adventure of his life. He escapes the pet shop and avoids getting eaten by a snake. He then makes a new friend named Zucker (a rat). Hopper finds a terrific, amazing city called Atlantia; a rat civilization. He then finds a pretty girl rat named Firren. She is more like a boy and is leader of the rebels. Hopper has a brother and a sister Pinky and Pup. Hopper finds out horrible secrets about Atlantia, secrets about his friends, and one secret about himself. Then a battle begins.

I love this book because it has a lot of adventure. I think this book would be too scary for kids under age nine. I think that my favorite character is Hopper. He is a sweet and cute little mouse. I think you would love this book. At the beginning, I didn’t like this book very much. But once you read about twenty pages, the book gets much more interesting. Hope you love this book!
