Miracle on 133rd Street
This is a story about a boy named José who lives with his mom and dad in an apartment building. His mom wanted to cook a roast for Christmas Eve, but her oven was too small. So José and his dad carried the roast over to the pizzeria because they had a big oven. But while they walked to the pizzeria, José and his dad talked to their apartment neighbors. They were pretty grumpy. But a magical thing happened when they came back with the cooked roast.
This is a great Christmas story! I like that the it’s an apartment story because I live in an apartment and I have neighbors just like José and his mom and dad, except they’re not grumpy like in the story. I love all the pictures. My favorite is the one of the apartment. You have to turn it sideways to see the whole picture. The lady who wrote the book is Maria from Sesame Street. I don’t want to say what happens at the end. You’ll have to get to book to find out. I recommend it to everyone.
