Marty Pants #2: Keep Your Paws Off!
Marty Pants is a kid. He likes to draw. Parker wants to be a psychologist. Roongrat makes up so many things to the point that Marty will believe the opposite of what he says. They are both Marty’s friends. Marty’s sister is studying for a history contest. Simon is the school artist and Marty’s nemesis.
This is a chapter book filled with lots of pictures. They are Marty’s pictures. He draws bicycles as frogs because he thinks bicycles are too hard to draw. He finds the corner of a page of his sister’s diary. It said that he is a “we-.” He thinks that the rest of the page says “werewolf.” He makes a list of werewolf symptoms. The Full Moon Dance is coming up. Will Marty become a werewolf? Read the book to find out.
I thought the story was funny. I liked the pictures. My favorite illustration was the candy bar drawing Marty made on the front of the candy store. My favorite part was when Marty handed in his homework on the Revolutionary War. I want to read all the Marty Pants books.
