Kindergarten Is Cool!
Kindergarten is Cool! by Linda Elovitz Marshall is a really funny book. It reminded me of when I went to kindergarten. In this book it talks about a lot of kids who are going to kindergarten for the first time.
Some of them are very nervous. They wonder if it is going to be “cool” like the other kids have said. They go to school and find out that kindergarten really IS cool! My favorite part is the part where she talks about meeting a new friend who has a “smile that goes on for a mile.” I like how she shows all the different and exciting activities that happen in kindergarten. The words rhyme in this book. I like the pictures; they are colorful and fun to see. The kids’ faces always show how they are feeling. There is one picture where the lunch box gets left on top of the car on the way to school! I would recommend this book to anyone who is worried about kindergarten.
