Kaia’s Big Felines

Kaia’s Big Felines teaches kids about feelings and different cats worldwide. Kaia experiences a lot of different emotions throughout the day, like fearlessness, feeling wild, quiet, calm, sad, angry, and scared. When she feels a certain way, there is a cat to represent the feeling and be with her.

Even though cats seem adorable and loveable all of the time, there are some, like the lion and tiger, who are dangerous and people should be careful around them. This is like people and their emotions can be sometimes, too; you should be careful around people when they feel big, negative feelings but still remember that they are cute and loveable on the inside.

Kaia’s Big Felines is a good book for kids of all ages. Little kids will understand it because they know about the cats, and then big kids will understand the feelings part of it better because they’re older. Of course, kids who like cats will enjoy this book, too!
