Jesse’s Girl
I always know my heart will be full and I’ll have a happy grin when I pick up a Miranda Kenneally book. The stories she weaves together are romantic, inspirational, and quite magical in their own right. How would you like to fall in love with a country music mega-star? Picture a much younger version of Luke Bryan vying for your attention. Can you imagine? Jesse’s Girl follows Maya, a little misunderstood yet a witty and fun girl who only wants to make it big with her band—only her band doesn’t want her. Then Maya gets the opportunity of a lifetime to shadow the Jesse Scott for career day. Yet as soon as she meets him, she thinks he’s a huge jerk. Well, he kind of is one, but for good reason. The closer Maya and Jesse get to knowing each other, hearts fly, and walls go up. Jesse has a hard time trusting people because in his line of business, someone always wants you to do something for them. I really enjoyed this book so much, and Kenneally fans will not be disappointed. I fell in love with the story and it’s such an honor to be able to review this book. A lot of characters from previous books make appearances in here—most notably Sam and Jordan! You don’t want to miss this.
