A Breath of Frost: The Lovegrove Inheritance (The Lovegrove Legacy)
Emma “said” she wanted more excitement and adventure in her boring debutante life. But what came her way wasn’t exactly what she’d been looking for. After escaping what had to be the millionth party, Emma Day finds a girl named Margaret York half-dead and covered in blood. When she sets off to find a doctor, she discovers that somehow the manor house mysteriously burst into flames. When Emma and her new companion, Cormac, one annoying(ly hot) jerk of an ex almost-boyfriend, stumble upon the now-dead body of Margaret, it’s clear that everything is not exactly as it seems. For Emma, and her cousins Penelope and Gretchen, the adventure has just begun.
When I first saw this title, I was intrigued and looked it up. It sounded interesting, especially because there are so few books about witches. When I got it, I immediately loved the cousins, the Madcaps Moira and one-eyed Joe, and Cormac (once they all showed up, of course). I eagerly await the next book, and I’m sure my fellow fans of paranormal adventures will, too.
