Inside Out: Sadly Ever After? is a book based on the Disney/Pixar movie Inside Out. There are 5 feelings, Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who all live inside the head of a little girl named Riley. Joy is trying to help Sadness remember a good memory, but everything they think of Sadness just remembers the sad part of the memory, like when Riley is playing at the park, but she falls in the mud and ruins their favorite sweater. Joy is able to help Sadness change a sad memory, of missing the school bus, to a happy memory: that mom drove them to school and they got hot chocolate.

I loved Inside Out Sadly Ever After? and was very excited to get to review it after having seen the movie. I liked that the text bubbles are different colors, based on which character is talking, Sadness is blue, and Anger is red. The whole story is told through text bubbles. It comes with a digital book, which I am very excited to play on my iPad.
