I Got It!
In this review I’m going to put in my point of view of the picture book.
The book starts out with a picture of a boy on the sidelines of the baseball field wanting to play with the other kids. He gets up the courage to ask the other kids if he can play. One of the kids says he can play outfield, so he does. One kid gets a hit, and it comes right to the boy. He jumps to try to catch it, and he does! But then he drops it. 🙁 But he gets up and keeps trying. And yet. Another ball comes to him! But he misses and hits a tree :(. Then another ball comes straight at him, and he feels like it’s the hardest thing in the world to catch. But then…he dives for it! and…HE CAUGHT IT. The illustrations are good the colors are too. Although there were not words, I really enjoyed the illustrations. The colors were vivid, and he designed the characters perfectly to tell the story. I like that there were no words because it could be a story that relates to anyone.
