There’s a dog who lives in Paris, but he goes on vacation to Provence. His name is Hudson. He wants to do what dogs in Provence do. So, he meets this other dog, and the other dog is a sheep dog. The sheepdog teaches him how to herd sheep, except Hudson doesn’t know how to, and he just can’t do it. Then, he meets this dog that looks for truffles, which are a tasty type of mushroom. But he can’t do that either. He tried to ride a bike in a bike race, but everybody went too fast. Finally, his mom tells him to do what he wants to do, and what he wants to do is paint. So, he paints pictures of all of his dog friends.

Hudson is an artist, and so it was good that he decided to paint instead of trying to be like the other dogs. I like this book because the pictures are fun. You can learn a lot of French words from this book, but I don’t like that very much. But Hudson went to a lot of places that would be nice to visit. If you like dogs, you will like this book.
