How To Dress A Dragon

This book talks about a child that tries to dress a dragon. The dragon has very silly taste and very strong preferences. First, it is hard to catch him while he flies around. Then it’s hard to keep him still, he needs belly kisses.

At that point, the child can start with the underwear, which the dragon loves… but decides to put on his head as a hat. Socks give him the ticklish, and he absolutely does not like shirts, buttons or not. But he likes capes and he can put shorts on (long pants are too difficult). Shoes are really hard, but rain boots work. Only hats that fit in between the horns are accepted by the dragon. Once the dragon is dressed, he will want to go outside to play… too bad that he does not want to be the dragon when playing dragons and knights.

This is really a silly book. The picture of the concerned mommy looking at the whole scene, or the picture of the dragon trying on hats that have the horns sticking through made me laugh really hard. Sometimes I behave like the dragon: when it’s time to get dressed I get all squiggly and difficult, and I end up making silly scenes. I also do not like hats nor shoes.
