How to Build a Hug: Temple Grandin and Her Amazing Squeeze Machine
How to Build a Hug is about Temple Grandin getting an idea for how to build her squeeze machine. The machine made Temple feel like she was hugged, but Temple didn’t like hugs. A hug made her feel like she was in a scratchy sock! I like the book because Temple was very smart when she made the machine. I would want to build a machine that I liked. I also liked the book because Temple had a great idea to build the machine: she saw a cow going into a squeeze chute. Temple’s machine broke, and a cure to help Temple with that is a hug! Temple is okay with hugs now!
