Horse Play
Horse Play! 25 Crafts, Party Ideas & Activities for Horse-Crazy Kids by Deanna F. Cook and Katie Craig is, as the title says, a book filled with fun activities and crafts for kids who love or like horses. It also has information about horses such as breeds, horse safety, horse-riding equipment, and even a quiz to test your knowledge. There are also many pull-out, punch-out activities like bookmarks, a pony stencil, horsey hangers, stickers, and even a poster! It has many fun crafts ideas, like how to make a pony pillow, how to make a wall hanger out of an old horseshoe, how to draw a horse, and learn how to make a horse barn out of a cardboard box.
I think this book is a very fun book because I like horses a lot and in this book there are activities that I really like, not the same old crafts that you see in a lot of books. I tried a lot of the crafts and I felt like the authors did a good job writing and designing the crafts. I think this book would be good for ages ten through twelve, and girls would like it more then boys because the crafts are more girly.
