Hilo Book 1: The Boy Who Crashed to Earth
D.J. sees something boom. He runs toward it and finds Hilo wearing silver underpants in a crater. Hilo eats grass. (It’s edible.) He doesn’t like it. D.J. takes Hilo to his house so he can put some clothes on. Hilo remembers nothing. Hilo brings a raccoon to school so he can get registered. (They are too busy trying to swat the raccoon.) Hilo greets everyone with “Aaaah!” Hilo fights bad guys. The bad guys are robots. (I never got to see Razorwark. He is the boss of the bad guys.) D.J. and Gina help him. (D.J. doesn’t think he’s good at anything, but he is.) Hilo has special powers. What is Hilo? Read the book to find out. This book has a cliffhanger. (Cliffhangers are not okay. I don’t like whoever created a cliffhanger.) I will read the next book. I like the pictures. This book is exciting. I don’t remember reading a book like this before. This book is funny. Hilo eats his napkin and eats salad dressing. Hilo’s underpants are funny. I can read this book myself. I like it.
