Have You Seen Dinosaur?
Have You Seen Dinosaur? is the story of a boy and his elephant friend who go on a dinosaur hunt while searching the city to hopefully find a dinosaur or two. Together, they look everywhere but have no luck. By the end, they realize that dinosaurs may be more common than they ever thought.
The pages of Have You Seen Dinosaur? have few words, one to two sentences, but each page shows them in a different part of the city as they search for dinosaurs. The friends find themselves in funny situations, such as squished amongst people on the subway and playing hide and seek behind pillars at a large building. The dinosaurs are hiding in good spots; they may be hidden to the reader if they aren’t really paying attention, or in plain sight if the pages are really being searched. The illustrations have pretty colors and like they’re watercolor.
Have You Seen Dinosaur? is a fun look-and-find book for younger kids because of how easy the dinosaurs are to spot and because there aren’t many words throughout the story.
