Goodnight Whispers

Goodnight Whispers by Michael Leannah is about a Dad and his baby girl. The dad was very kind to his baby girl. He would whisper and tell her sweet things, like that she was good at everything. The dad kept telling his daughter kind words every night until she grew up and moved away. When the dad was old and needed help, his daughter helped him. The daughter whispered nice things to her dad when he was asleep. The daughter would also whisper kind words to her baby son when he fell asleep.

I thought the story was really good. I liked how the daughter was kind when her dad needed kind words–so she did the same thing he did to her when she was little. I also liked how the daughter shared her blue bunny with her son.
