Nancy Clancy asked Mrs. DeVine about what life was like when she was young, and Mrs. DeVine told her that she had a best friend named Betsy, but after Betsy moved somewhere else it just wasn’t the same, even with emails and phones. Nancy’s parents are getting her a new desk from a tag sale for her to do homework. When Nancy pulls out one of the drawers, she finds a key. She finds a keyhole in another drawer. Inside, Nancy expects to find some treasure or jewelry, but instead she only finds another key. She went over to where she got desk and asked if they knew what the key unlocked. They didn’t know, but told Nancy they had gotten the desk from their neighbor, who unfortunately had moved a long time ago. Can you help Nancy figure out the secret of the silver key?

I like this book because it’s about friendship. It’s very fun to read, and if you liked it a lot and kept on reading all the chapters you would probably get it done in a day. I liked the pictures, and how Nancy kept discovering even though she kept on coming to dead ends.
