This book is about a girl in the future and the gene pool is getting smaller, so the moms don’t have enough genes in their bodies to make a human.
Tania liked a human boy and joins a band. Her best friend gets pregnant. The robot children don’t have to grow in the mom for nine months like human babies do. Tania wants to have a normal human life, but she’s not a human.
There’s a city in India where humans are slaves and their masters are robots, so it’s kind of reversed like Planet of the Apes where the monkeys are in charge and the humans are slaves.
My favorite part of this book is when Tania gets to go on stage with her band and plays. Another favorite part is when she goes to a café with people singing.
What I disliked most about this books is when Tania’s friend is going to die. I also didn’t like it when she had to say goodbye to everyone because she was being taken back to her family.
I rate this book 4. 5 stars and would recommend it.
