Ever the Hunted: A Clash of Kingdoms Novel

Britta is the best hunter and tracker there is. Britta is poaching on King Aodren’s land and will be hanged if she is caught. Then Britta’s father is murdered, and her best friend Cohen is said to be the one who killed him. Britta’s torn apart by the fact that Cohen killed her father. Meanwhile, Malam and Shaerdon are on the brink of war. If she doesn’t stop both countries, they will destroy each other. Britta is caught but has an option to either find Cohen and capture him or be hanged. She of course picks finding Cohen and starts her journey to avenge her father and bring peace between both kingdoms.

Ever the Hunted is a story about a girl who discovers truths, lies, and love. It is great for people who like adventure/fantasy. It has bits of romance in it. It has lots of twists and turns. It is a little violent. I recommend it for around eighth grade and above. I liked it a lot. I would’ve liked if it talked about the characters’ past more, though.
