DC Super Hero Girls: At Metropolis High
DC Super Hero Girls: At Metropolis High is a graphic novel about a group of high school girls who are superheroes. They work together to stop the villains in Metropolis but their good deeds keep getting them into trouble as they always get to school late. Their principal threatens to suspend them and tells them that they all have to join afterschool programs at their high school. The girls each choose something they love and join the clubs but soon find out that there is such a thing as too good. They have to work together to find a way to follow their principal’s orders while still managing to save the day.
This story has excellent pictures and kept me turning the page to find out what would happen next. I especially loved the action scenes with the superheroes and villains fighting. DC Super Hero Girls: At Metropolis High is a great story for children ages 8 and up who like action and enjoy reading comics. It teaches that sometimes we have to push ourselves past what we are most comfortable with to learn what we can really do. I enjoyed this book and plan to read it again. You should read it, too. I think you’ll love it!
