First the cat finds a trumpet. And then he finds a book. Then he finds a paintbrush. And then he finds a plant. Then he finds some cheese, he finds some fish, and then he goes home. His arms are so full of all the things he got. He got them for his friends.

He lives in a building with all these other animals who are his friends. The elephant liked music, and the bird liked to paint. The dog liked to read, and the rabbit liked plants and the mouse liked cheese. Cat wants fish and he doesn’t want to be rude; he wants to be nice. So he gets presents for all his friends.

I like this book because Cat is so nice to his friends, and his friends don’t have any of these things. I like the pictures a lot because they are nice and there’s no violence in it, and I like it because it’s safe. The cat can go by himself because he’s old enough. There are not very many words but you can see what is happening in the story because of the pictures.
