Big Nate is a funny middle school kid that likes to make comics. In this book Nate runs for class president, he is up against two popular kids at school. More stuff happens like getting a cool sub that also likes to make comics, dealing with Gina AGAIN, and finally agreeing to have a friendship with Jenny. I really liked the part when school picture guy was using puppets to tell a story to some kids and then Nate joined in and he was the tiger the prince and princess found. The tiger puppet was Garfield the cat! Then school picture guy said show me some pep! It was so funny!! I think whoever reads this book will find that part funny too. There are more funny parts like that in Big Nate Mr. popularity. And another funny part was when Spitsy the dog was scratching at Nate’s door, and Nate thought Spitsy was there to play with him. Then Nate’s big sister came out the door and said “Spitsy you’re just in time for the Ice skating tournament!” or something like that. There are other Big Nate books to read out there, every page is something to laugh about in each book.
