Bear and Duck

I like that Bear does not enjoy being a bear, and instead wishes to be a duck. It is funny when Bear tells the bees who are stinging him, “Leave. Me. ALONE!” The grumpy look on his face makes me laugh!

I like when Bear smiles at the ducks, because they seem so happy. It seems easier to be a duck than a bear—until Bear actually tries to be a duck. He quickly realizes that bears cannot swim without making big splashes, or fly!

It is hilarious when Bear says, “QUACK!” too loudly and happily. It startles the ducks! That is my favorite part! Duck is angry that Bear is trying to be a duck, but he finally agrees to teach him how a good duck should behave. It is silly when Bear builds a nest and sits on it! I like how Duck makes Bear feel that he is a good bear—and a good friend.

You should read this book because it is a good book and has nice pictures and a likeable story.
