Are You a Cheeseburger?

A raccoon wanting a cheeseburger sounds pretty stereotypical but this book is anything but that. Are You a Cheeseburger? is the story of a little raccoon who has had the taste of leftover cheeseburgers several times, but he has never had a cheeseburger. While rummaging through the trash, he thinks he may have finally found the answer to his question by finding what he thinks is a cheeseburger seed. Do cheeseburgers even come from seeds? There is only one thing to do, plant it and find out!!

This book was super cute, and while the raccoon may not have found exactly what he wanted, he may have found what he needed in the end. At first, I did feel a little misled because I thought the illustration on the front of the book was a lemon in his hand and that he was digging through the trash for a cheeseburger. The seed seems to be rather large but maybe only because raccoon hands are rather small. Either way, it is a super cute book with very sweet illustrations. I would read again; it just wasn’t as funny as I had hoped!
