If you’ve ever been jealous of a friend and said something you regret, then this is the book for you! Also if you’re creative and like making up jingles, then you’re going to love Annie B. Made for TV.

The characters are very realistic, and I could definitely relate to Annie B. For instance, I could relate when she writes down really mean things about her sometimes-always-best friend but feels terrible when her friend sees what she wrote. And when she gets embarrassed in front of a boy who likes her and runs into the girl’s bathroom. I really felt bad for her and had to keep reading to find out how things turned out.

The author captures each moment so realistically that it’s almost like you are in the book. I loved reading the commercials for inventions that Annie thinks up, especially her “personal stuffed animal” idea. I was proud when Annie choose to risk her TV job to apologize to her best friend and encourage Jake (even though she might get teased for having a boy as a friend).

Annie B. could be the next Ramona or Clementine–she’s very relatable and quirky. You are going to love her!
