Andi Under Pressure (An Andi Boggs Novel)
Andi and her new best friend, Colin, joined a science camp in Killdeer, Ohio. They meet a strange man named Polk who cuts the grass with kitchen scissors and has a dog (an old beagle named Currie). Andi is a really smart girl who is very good at science. She has higher grades than Colin but she didn’t tell him because she didn’t want to hurt his feelings. Ava (one of Andi’s classmates) does not really like Andi. Strange things start happening at the camp. The crickets get loose and expensive tools go missing. Their science teacher gets hurt by an explosion, and lots of people blame Polk. Ava thinks Andi and Colin are behind all this. Will Andi and Colin solve the mystery?
I like this book because it is funny and has mystery. I like Andi’s cat, Mr. Rochester, because he’s sort of psychic and special. This book isn’t very long. Almost any kid who loves mystery would like this book. This is a sequel but it makes sense even if you did not read the first book.
