All’s Happy That Ends Happy
A short children’s novel by Rose Lagercrantz, All’s Happy That Ends Happy follows two friends as they experience the full range of human emotions—from happiness to sadness.
This book wasn’t too bad. The plot, language, and characters were quite plain and simple. But this simplicity isn’t a bad thing, as this book is geared toward younger readers would get lost in a complex plot, multi-dimensional characters, and complicated language. The illustrations were good and served the same purpose as the simple language, characters, and plot. Overall, I think this book is a good read for younger readers. I would certainly recommend it for younger kids to read on their own and, it would make a great book to read aloud with a child.
