This book is all about worry and what girls do to get their worry out. Some of the topics include “all stressed out,” “look who’s talking,” “pressures and perfection,” “facing your fears,” “taking charge,” and “so, really, what if?”. What girls do is they think “What if? What if? What if?” and that makes them feel worried and stressed. So this book gives lots of advice on how to handle worry. For example, girls can learn about “shady characters” who can make them feel worried. I have met some of these characters in real life, like the “name-caller”!

My favorite part of this book was learning how to handle a name-caller and other “shady characters.” The author of this book recommends that you should “just say, ‘No thanks, I’m not buying this,’ and push it right back out.” I did this to an imaginary name-caller at karate – it worked! I think this book is probably better for girls who are a little older than me, since it says for age 10 and up on the back cover. I am going to keep this book and will keep reading it when I get older.
