Time to Go!
Time to Go! is the story of little kids and their parents telling them that they need to leave. Ava is having fun at home, but then her daddy says that they need to leave to go to the playground. Ava doesn’t want to leave, but her daddy lets her sing one more song and then asks if she wants help getting ready. Then Ava is at the playground and playing with her friends Jack and JoJo. JoJo’s mommy tells her that it is time to go, but JoJo wants to stay and play, but she is okay leaving after she tells the playground “bye.” Then Jack is at home and he is playing, but it is time for him to take a bath. His mom tells him that he can take his train with him in the bath.
Each of these kids didn’t want to stop what they were doing but were okay stopping when their parents helped them. My mom taught me to say “bye” to the things I was leaving, so I like doing that. This will be a good book for little kids who get sad when they have to leave places.
