I am Benjamin Franklin (Ordinary People Change the World)
This is a very adorable story about Ben Franklin’s life. Benjamin Franklin was always trying to improve things and himself. Ever since he was a kid, he always tried to experiment with things that lead to famous discoveries when he grew up. Ben had multiple jobs including being a cartoonist and a writer. I learned a lot about him when I read this book, including the meaning of his most famous experiment: bringing electricity to a kite with a key. I also learned about his growing up in a family of thirteen. There are some funny parts in the book that I really enjoyed. My favorite part was when young Ben floated on his back in a lake while holding a kite. The kite dragged him farther away, and he yelled to some other kids who were watching, “Meet me on the other side! And bring my shoes!” I thought that was really funny and enjoyable. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking to be inspired, likes to dream big, and wants do something that could change the world later on.
