When the Bees Buzzed Off!
Bees are very important. One day the bugs saw no bees, and they were worried. The bugs went searching for the bees, and they found a lot of other bugs that looked like bees but weren’t. Some of the bugs they found were wasps, caterpillars and beetles. The bugs kept on searching until finally they heard a lot of buzzing. They found the bees in a field of flowers. The bees had to go and find flowers because they were hungry, and they needed to get pollen. The bugs wanted the bees to come back, so they helped plant seeds so that flowers would grow and the bees wouldn’t be hungry anymore.
I really enjoyed this book because it was a funny story that also taught me how important bees are to our environment. It was fun to flip the flaps and see what was underneath. I learned about other bugs that look like bees. Snail was so funny because she always thought something bad was going to happen like getting eaten or when the caterpillar turned into a chrysalis.
