The Winner Is . . .
This is a story about two girls competing for a trophy. Rae and Caroline are the only contestants left. Who will be the Next Best Junior Chef? They have been through tough challenges already, but this week they are going to have to work the “cherry off the top.” Surprising events turn up, “whipping them like cream.” The two compete, but only one will have the title of Next Best Junior Chef.
I would recommend this book to kids who like books that relate to cooking. The drawings that are in the book help because they show what the characters and food look like. The characters are realistic. They remind me of the kids on the show MasterChef Junior. I really enjoyed this book because it was about cooking. I think this book was a very happy and funny story. There was nothing really bad in this story…no fighting, no cheating…just a good story about two friends and a friendly competition.
