Snappsy the Alligator and His Best Friend Forever
Snappsy is an alligator who his friend Bert finds very interesting. So interesting that he decides to be his best friend. Except that Snappsy really does not care, and actually he does not even want him as a best friend. But Bert won’t even hear and keeps asking Snappsy to have sleepovers, pizza, and popcorn parties. He even makes BFF t-shirts for them to wear! He is actually quite annoying, and at some point Snappsy reminds him that he never wanted him as a best friend and that he really enjoys being by himself. So Bert leaves. Then Snappsy finds out that life alone is quite boring, so he writes a letter to Bert inviting him back to be friends. And guess what? Bert jumps on it, again! And this time he’s ready to move in.
This book is really funny. It reminds me of what I do to my friends: I can be crazy and come up with so many activities that at the beginning they are scared. Then they start having fun and they don’t want to leave.
