Frankie Liked to Sing
Frankie Liked to Sing is a true story about a young boy named Frankie Sinatra who liked to sing and never stopped. He sang for a lot of people, and enjoyed listening to Bing Crosby sing on the radio. He sang at his dad’s saloon, at his mom’s parties, events, dances, and other people’s parties all over town!
Frankie wanted to be a singer like Bing Crosby when he grew up. Since he could not be a professional singer in New Jersey, he went to New York and practiced his singing until he was very good. Frankie made records so other people could listen to him sing in their own homes whenever they wanted to!
Frankie filled a lot of really big theatres, and lived his dream of being a famous singer, just like his role model, Bing Crosby.
I enjoyed this book because it encourages people to do what makes them happy in life! If you get joy from doing something and share it with other people, your joy will pass on to them! And that is what Frankie did.
