Famous Last Words
It all started when her mother remarried, or maybe even when her father died. Two years ago, Willa Cresky’s father, Paul Cresky, died, and Willa started down a path that’s best left alone. More recently, her mother, Joanna Cresky, married famous Hollywood movie director, Jonathan Walters. Now removed from her hometown in Joffrey, Connecticut, Willa has to navigate her way through a new school full of Hollywood kids and figure out her feelings for her step-dad’s hot assistant Reed Thornton. Oh yeah, and she starts getting visions related to The Hollywood Killer, a serial killer terrorizing the area. So of course she has to solve that mystery and bring down justice for his victims.
This story was really cool and I liked it a lot—especially the paranormal parts. The murder mystery was like what I see in a lot of TV shows and movies, but Willa’s visions and the strange things that happened kept it interesting. Before I started reading, I thought, “Meh,” but then when I read it, I was swept away and got caught up in the story almost immediately.
