Work, Dogs, Work: A Highway Tail
There are a bunch of dogs that work on the road. The boss says, “Let’s go work on that road!” so they work and they fix and they fix and they fix. Then they come to a mountain, and they can’t go around it. So they have to make a tunnel with TNT. They blast a big hole and they make a bridge because there’s a lake in between. Then they make the road and for miles and miles they go until they reach the beach! I like this book five five times stars. I like it because the dogs are so fun to look at. And how could they know what is what? I have a dog, but she hasn’t done that stuff ever! I like seeing all the machines to build the road, and I like the steam roller the best. I liked at the end how the dogs got to play at the beach. I liked how it was all in rhymes and a poem. I love this book so much.
