Emma has to write a poem about her best day ever. But, it is snowing, and she says it is a snow day. So, the next day she goes outside with her dog, Dixie. Emma and Dixie play in the snow where they make a snow dog and snow angels. Then, they want to go sledding. But, when they get to the hill, Dixie jumps on the sled and starts sliding down without Emma! Emma gets on a sled with her friend and they slide down after Dixie, and then Dixie jumps on Emma’s lap and they fall into the snow! Then, they go sledding again and again, until, finally, Dixie goes home, and Emma writes her poem.

This book is so funny, especially when Dixie jumps into Emma’s lap on her friend’s sled! I like the pictures, and I can mostly read this book by myself, because it has words that I know and can already read. I like to look at the pictures and think about playing in the snow with my dog, too.
