Do You Want To Build A Snowman?
In this story there are two girls, Elsa and Anna, who need help building Olaf. They use magic to do that. Elsa and Anna ask readers to do special things to make Olaf, like tap on the book, chop off branches of a tree for Olaf’s arms, and turn the book around two times. At the end of the book, Olaf is put together and then it’s time to play in the snow.
I was disappointed when I first got the book, because I expected real magic. But after my gramma read it to me a bunch, and I did all the things Elsa and Anna said to do, I changed my mind. Now, it’s one of my favorite books! The pictures and actions to make Olaf are great. There are big and small colored words that make the story fun. My favorite part of the story is when Anna hits Elsa with a snowball and Elsa says “YIKES!” This book is perfect for 5 year olds, but it is also great for 3 and 4 year olds because they will enjoy doing all the different activities to build Olaf. If you like Frozen, you will just love this book!
