Iron Man: The Gauntlet
Tony Stark is rich and a genius, but he is most known for being the invincible Iron Man. One day Stark was on his yacht when he noticed something on a small island off the coast of Ireland. He decided to check it out. He got there and things started going wrong, and even worse, he was only in his party pack suit. In the past, people have tried to break into Stark’s security system but have failed. This was a different situation.
Eoin Colfer is the best-selling author of Artemis Fowl. Marvel’s Iron Man: The Gauntlet is intense and interesting. It is also nicely written, has lots of detail, and has some humor in it. I like the book a lot, and I would read it over and over again. Even though the book is suggested for ages eight to twelve, I think it would be best for ages twelve and up. The book is violent and can be confusing for younger readers. This book is best for people familiar with the Iron Man movies or comics.
