Willy Maykit in Space
Willy Maykit in Space is a comedy book about a boy who goes on a field trip in space. While there, Willy and his friends find monsters on the planet they are visiting. Willy gets left behind when the class spaceship goes home. It comes back to rescue them but crashes when it lands. Willy and his friends have to fix the spaceship and hope to return home before the monsters get them. My favorite part of the story was when the kids got the computer from the wrecked spaceship working again because they really needed a rescue ship and that got them closer to being home. The part of the book I didn’t like was when one of the monsters just roasts marshmallows instead of going to the monster ball. It was a really funny book that made me want to keep reading it until I was finished. The funniest part was when Willy’s friend said, “You DO speak in complete sentences!” I laughed a lot while I was reading this book and I will read it again. I think my friends would like to read this book, too.
