Whale Done (FunJungle)

Whale Done is a great novel and is part of the FunJungle series by Stuart Gibbs. In this novel, Teddy takes a vacation to Malibu with his girlfriend, Summer, and encounters a dead whale. As usual, trouble seems to follow Teddy wherever he goes, and as he and Summer are assisting with the whale’s autopsy when it abruptly explodes, preventing them from finding its cause of death. Suspecting that something suspicious is going on, Teddy sets off to find out who’s behind the explosion. This is an amazing book, it is full of fun characters and thrilling action. This novel was so good that I read the entire book without stopping. The action sequences blend humor and action in a way that makes them really fun to read. I love the amount of detail in this novel, as well as the different settings used throughout the story. I really enjoyed the different surfers, who help Teddy solve the mystery. I would recommend this awesome novel to kids from sixth to ninth grade, and to kids who like mystery and adventure novels.
