We Found a Seed (In the Garden)

We Found a Seed is such a cute book about one of the happiest times of year. When two kids find a seed, they don’t know why it won’t grow in a box. Eventually, they figure out they need to plant it and water it for it to grow. The seed then turns into a flower, but the kids are sad when it dies. However, the kids are thrilled when they realize the plant has left them something behind.

This is a really cute little book for younger readers to learn about the plant lifecycle and what plants need to grow. I really liked the colorful pictures in this book. I like how the pictures helped to show how the plant is changing through the seasons.
