Uncle from Another World, Vol. 1 (Uncle from Another World, 1)

Volume One of Uncle From Another World was an entertaining and fun read. The storyline is very original and is an interesting topic to cover. The art in this manga is very well drawn, making for some great scenes and storytelling. The characters were very expressive and all-around great people with flaws, just like people in this world. The romance in the alternate world is compelling and complex, and I found myself following the story and laughing along with the plot easily. The book made the characters’ personalities very clear, and there was no ‘wait period’ where you were learning about them. I would say that this book, and its future sequels, have a lot of potential, and they would be great for teenagers 13-17. I enjoyed my time reading, and I am very honored and happy to have reviewed this book and I hope to review more books like it.
