Jason wakes up on a bus and finds that a girl, named Piper, likes him, and a boy named Leo is his best friend. He doesn’t remember any of this and or who he is. The bus takes them to Camp Half-Blood, where Jason learns he is the son of Zeus; Piper is the daughter of Aphrodite; and Leo is the son of Hephaestus. Jason doesn’t know why, but he knows all the gods by their Roman, instead of Greek, names. While he’s trying to figure all this out, he discovers that Hera has been kidnapped. He must save her within three days or something terrible will happen – Hera will be gone for good.

This book was a graphic novel and the pictures were really exciting. They really added to the story and made me feel like I was in the book, watching the characters as they acted. I liked Piper, because she was headstrong and determined to do what she wanted that was right. I didn’t really feel sorry for Jason, because he had a whole camp of people to help him remember, but Jason, Leo, and Piper all had sarcastic comments to give each other, which were really funny.
