The Wolf’s Curse

We rated this book:

The Wolf’s Curse is a book about a young boy named Gauge. Gauge has been told that he is a voyant: somebody who can call and see the white wolf that haunts people. Everybody wants him gone. When his grandpa, a carpenter, dies, so does his last source of protection. The town guards and other people are hunting for him. Gauge believes that this is the end for him. Soon he meets Roux, a young girl, and her father, Woolsy, who harbor him and keep him safe. As the story unfolds, Gauge discovers that not everything is as it seems. This book would be great for people aged nine to sixteen who love fantasy and enjoy mystery and action. However, to read the book you must have patience because it takes a while to get to the point. I am not the most patient person so it was a little challenging to stay interested in some parts. Other than that, this book was a good read.
