Polly Lacey feels like she is invisible. One day, she goes up into the attic of her house and hears a person, Rose McPherson, on the other side of a wall in the attic. After that they became good friends and shared all sorts of secrets with each other. Soon Rose and Polly find out that a bad ghost, Winnie, haunts Rose’s house and together they figure out what is wrong with Winnie and how to get rid of her. Rose frees Winnie by making Rose’s father stop thinking that it is his fault that Winnie died. One day Polly’s mother comes over to accuse Rose of stealing stuff from her house and on accidentally tells them that Polly died in the spring. So who is the ghost? What has been happening to all the missing stuff? Find out in The Swallow: A Ghost story.
I really liked this book because it had a lot of suspense and was about good friendship.
