The Spinner Prince

Leo is the prince of his pride and is the next in line to be the heir to the throne. Leo has just had his 13th birthday, and, just like all the other cubs in his pride, he must pass the deadly test to prove his strength and be able to go to the Academy to learn to be a fierce soldier like all of his ancestors. Leo has a dark secret that could keep him from taking the throne and could lead to him being killed. Leo is a Spinner, and all members of his pride have always been told that Spinners have diseased minds. Now Leo’s cousin has tried to claim that he is the heir to the throne, making more problems for Leo. The fate of the whole pride is changing, and Leo, along with his academy squadron, must protect his people so that he can take his rightful throne.

This is an exciting read with a lot of mystery and adventure. You never know who could turn out not to be on the good side. This book was a non-stop page-turner, and I cannot wait for the next book to see what happens next to Leo and his friends.
