The Scavengers is about when Maggie, who is also known as Ford Falcon, was little and her parents, brother, and her were in the middle of a global warming apocalypse. Everything fell apart. Scientists try to save the polar bears, but instead accidentally made a blood-thirsty offspring.

The government created bubble cities that you could live in, but if you didn’t want to live in them you were all on your own. Of course, there are the gray devils who would even kill to get their dirty, gritty, disgusting hands on a large maze.

My favorite part of this book is when they take the “scary pruner” into town but get attacked by grey devils on the way, but on the way back there’s a whole lot more happening and they’re even more crazy.

My least favorite part is when the father left them to die and went to the hills with his tail between his legs with embarrassment.

I rate this book a five and would most definitely recommend this book to anyone!
