Everyone’s having an awesome party with the Queen at the palace. Then, there’s this flash of lightning, and when it stops, the Queen notices her shadow is gone! Then, the royal detective, the Mantis Shrimp, starts to accuse everyone of stealing it. First he says it is the chameleon. But, Sir Chameleon says he didn’t, because his eyes have to focus on one thing at the same time for him to aim, but he saw dragonfly and Captain Shark. Each animal says why it wasn’t the thief, and then the children sea urchins are asked. They kept on giggling and say they had been hiding in everyone’s shadows except the Queen’s, because she didn’t have one – she left it in the loo!

This book is really funny and fun. It is a funny story, and it was a fun way to learn about how animals see. I love it and give it five million stars because it’s so awesome – I love it! The pictures help you understand how the animals see; I never knew that. You can also learn more about the animals in the back. Other people who like to learn things will like this book, too.
