The Mummy’s Curse is the second book in the Museum Kittens series. I have not read the first book, but starting with the second one isn’t too bad since it sounds like the second one starts soon after the first one ends, and there is talk about things that happened before.

The Mummy’s Curse is about a bunch of Egyptian things that get delivered to the museum where the kittens live. The kittens feel they must protect the new things, but the rats who live there think that the old paper in a glass case would taste good; the cats must watch out for the rats and see if there is a curse with the Egyptian things.

I thought I learned a lot by reading this book because I didn’t know anything about Egyptians. I like that they loved cats so much because I do too! I like that the cats are the main characters and heroes of the story; they are brave, cute, and loveable. The story isn’t too hard to understand, but it’s longer for me to read, and my mom had to explain some things in the story. I enjoyed it overall and will look for a third book to come out.
